Who We Are:
First Baptist Church of Westland is an Independent Baptist Church and we want to be your First place for Faith, Fellowship, and Fulfillment. It starts with growing in your Faith through worship services and Bible study classes. While with us,
you can Fellowship with other Christians and develop lifelong friendships and also find Fulfillment through places of service in our church, community, and the whole world through our Faith Promise World Missions Program.
When You Arrive:
Please remember that we are glad that you have chosen to worship with us. You do not need to be nervous about fitting in or being treated kindly. We do our best to be friendly and welcoming to all who come.
If you arrive a little before 10:00 a.m. one of our members can show you and your family to your appropriate Sunday School classes. However, if you wish for your children to remain with you while you are with us, that is perfectly fine as well.
If you arrive a little before 11:00 a.m. you can make your way to the morning service in our main auditorium. Nursery is provided through age 3, and there is a Children's Church service for children 4 to 12 years old.
We encourage the rest of our children to sit with their families in church so that they may begin to learn to worship the Lord with you.
How Should I Dress?
There is not a specific dress code for attendance in our services. Our heart's desire is to serve and worship the Lord according to the grace that He has given to us. We only ask that you dress modestly and decently.
What Kind Of Message Will I Hear?
What is needed today is not man's ideas or opinions, but God's Word. This is why we boldly preach and teach the Bible, and usually in a verse by verse manner. The preaching and teaching of the Bible is the focus of every Worship Service and Bible Study class.
