About Us
Who We Are:
We are an Independent Baptist Church and we want to invite you to help us to praise the God of the Bible as we raise the blood stained banner of Jesus Christ. We desire to become closer to God, through the preaching of the word and Bible study classes.
As you worship with us, you can enjoy the fellowship of other like-minded Christians and develop friendships that, hopefully, will last a lifetime. We believe that one of the greatest areas of service for any Christian is to be active in sharing the gospel, both at home and around the world. We can reach our community by sharing the gospel in one on one evangelism, but the only way we can reach the world is through our Faith Promise Missions Giving Program. The Great Commission, which appears in at least 5 places in the New Testament, requires that all of God's children should be actively involved in the support of world-wide Missions outreach.
When You Arrive:
Please remember that we are glad that you have chosen to worship with us. You do not need to be nervous about fitting in or being treated kindly. We do our best to be friendly and welcoming to all who come.
If you arrive a little before 10:00 a.m. one of our members can show you and your family to your appropriate Sunday School classes. However, if you wish for your children to remain with you while you are with us, that is perfectly fine as well.
If you arrive a little before 11:00 a.m. you can make your way to the morning service in our main auditorium. A nursery is provided for children up to 3 years of age, and there is a Children's Church service for children 4 to 12 years old.
We encourage the rest of our children to sit with you and your family in the adult church service, so that they may begin to learn to worship the Lord with you.
How Should I Dress?
We have no specific dress code for attendance in our services. Our heart's desire is for all to be able to study the word of God, and worship the Lord in an undistracted manner, therefore we ask that you dress modestly and decently.
What Kind Of Message Will I Hear?
What is needed today is not man's ideas or opinions, but God's Word. That is why we boldly preach and teach the Bible, and usually in a verse by verse manner. The preaching and teaching of the Bible is the focus of every Worship Service and Bible Study class.
